Vincent John Gaspay is a graduate of Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Philippines with a B.S. in Information Technology. He is a programmer and web developer, with extensive experience in Flash animation and Action Script. He has been working with the ILE program since 2015 producing the animations that help bind reality, text, and speech together.
Nick Gardner has received university degrees from Mount Allison University, Canada (B.A. in English Literature and German), Dalhousie University, Canada (M.A. in English Literature), the University of Helsinki, Finland (M.A. in English Language and Linguistics), and the University of Oulu, Finland (B.Ed. in teaching English). With 35 years experience as a university instructor of English as a Second Language in the USA, Canada, Finland, Russia, and South Korea, he brings extensive knowledge of editing, writing, and translating to the project. He greatest contribution to the ILE program has been in editing of the ILE curriculum, as well as this and the michaelmedland.com web sites.
Michael B. Medland has been working on the ILE program off and on for nearly 15 years. He received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota and Ph.D. from Michigan State University in Educational Psychology. He has taught at the preschool, elementary, and university levels. His books include Management of Classroom (Holt, Rinehart, & Winston), Self-Management Strategies: Theory, Curriculum, and Teaching Procedures (Preager), and Happier Families: Raising Self-Managed Children (Barcroft). He currently lives in Seaside, California working on the ILE program.
Chito Petilla is a graduate of Cebu Institute of Technology, Cebu City, Philippines with a B.S. in Electronics Engineering. He is a programmer and web developer, with extensive experience in database applications. He has been working with the ILE program since 2013. He has also done work with the michaelmedland.com and thinkingbabies.org web sites.
